Demonstration of the ARES shredder: the end of an open house day
On November 27th, a demonstration of the ARES shredder brought together several local authorities in La Crau and Hyères (Var). This event provided an opportunity to discover this shredder for green waste, designed to optimize waste processing and improve the efficiency of waste collection centers.
The two versions were unveiled during the demonstration of the ARES crusher.
During this demonstration of the ARES crusher, participants were able to test both configurations: high dock and low dock.
The shredder reduces waste volume by up to five times, resulting in a significant decrease in transport costs. It also produces mulch that is easily usable for composting or mulching, thus contributing to a circular management of green waste.
Thanks to its ergonomic, ground-level loading, the work of the operators is simplified, faster, and more comfortable. The machine offers enhanced safety, with no dangerous projections and a visual pre-inspection that limits the introduction of non-compliant waste.
The site remains cleaner and better organized, and operations are no longer interrupted by dust or debris generated by conventional shredders. The equipment also presents a more reassuring image to users, a far cry from the often unsettling perception of traditional shredders.
Enriching exchanges and strong community involvement
The technical teams were able to answer questions from the elected officials and staff present, share feedback, and present the advantages of the ARES shredder in an effort to:
- Reduction in treatment costs,
- Improvement of sorting at waste disposal sites,
- Valorization of green waste,
- Securing workspaces.
