The Gillard company is completing its range of solutions for the management of waste collection centres (barriers, waste compactors, storage containers, etc.) with the introduction of Ares, a plant shredder that tackles the problem of processing green waste at waste collection centres.
"On a national level, vegetation accounts for about half of all waste. Reducing their volume means saving money," say Gillard and its partner AME (Archer Maintenance Environnement), which designed the shredder. In fact, AME, Gillard's long-standing sales and service partner in the Lyon region, developed the Ares to meet the specific requirements of waste disposal centres. "The shredder, in its dockside version, is positioned on a metal frame that overhangs the shredder recovery bin. The loading bucket allows users to deposit waste and ensures the permanent safety of staff and users," he describes.
