Gillard, leader in innovation in waste disposal sites

Founded 57 years ago, the company gillard has established itself as a key player in the field of waste disposal sites and waste management. Present in Bois-le-roi et Champagne sur Seine, it offers innovative solutions for communities and recycling professionals.

Thanks to its recognized expertise, Gillard is focusing on innovation to strengthen its leading position in the market.

A family business that has become a pillar of the sector

Founded in 1968 by Serge Gillard, the company initially specialized in the manufacture of waste compactors and removable skips. Today, it has more than 70 employees and continues to grow. It is expanding its range to meet the increasingly diverse needs of communities and service providers such as Veolia ou Suez.

According to Lilac Gillard, head of business development and granddaughter of the founder, the company has evolved while remaining true to its values. She explains that Gillard seeks to offer the most comprehensive offering possible. To achieve this, she regularly submits patents, guaranteeing unique and efficient solutions, in line with current sector requirements.

Equipment designed for modern waste disposal sites

Among her achievements, Gillard recently equipped the new waste disposal site in Montereau-Fault-Yonne, designed according to the “flat” waste disposal principle. This innovative configuration allows users to pour their waste directly into the compactors.

It thus reduces physical effort, facilitates daily use and lowers installation costs. In addition, it significantly improves user safety.

"It's easier to install these recycling centers. It's faster, it costs less, it's simpler to use and it's less dangerous," he says. Lilac Gillard.

A concrete response to the new regulations

The company does not limit itself to equipping fixed sites. It also develops mobile solutions, in connection with regulatory developments.

Gillard thus won the market for barriers for all Smictom waste disposal sites. At the same time, she is working on an ambitious project called Teka, a smart mobile waste collection center, designed to comply with the French law that will come into force at the beginning of 2025. This new regulation will require cities to offer sorting solutions in public spaces.

The Teka device takes the form of a giant cube, integrating several sorting bins. Each user will be able to scan your waste, ensuring correct separation of materials. Paris will be the first city to test this device.

Innovating for a sustainable future

Thanks to his commitment to research and development, Gillard continues to modernize waste management equipment. Its solutions are designed to be more safe, economical and ecological.

The company thus confirms its pioneering role in the sector and its ability to anticipate future environmental challenges.
