The GILLARD company recently equipped the new waste collection center in Oisemont, in the Somme department (80). This one-hectare site marks an evolution in the design of collection centers by adopting the flat-level waste collection center model, a modern alternative to traditional loading docks. The inauguration took place in the presence of representatives from the TRINOVAL waste management association, its management, its president, and the mayor of Oisemont.
We thank TRINOVAL for their trust in the realization of this project.
Equipment adapted to the needs of the waste disposal site
To meet the operational needs of this new facility, our teams supplied and installed several pieces of equipment designed to optimize waste management, improve working conditions for staff and ensure the safety of users.
- 5 ORK MK3 (patented)
The ORK MK3 are 30 m³ monobloc compactors, specially developed for flat landfill sites. With a compaction force of 56 tonnes, they allow for the efficient processing of bulky waste while reducing the frequency of skip trips and transport costs.
Their design offers numerous advantages:
- Minimal daily maintenance
- Small footprint
- Quick setup
- Compatibility with existing infrastructures
- Improvement of working conditions for operations staff
- 2 HULK 2 (patented)
The HULK 2 is a ground-level loading system designed and manufactured in France, allowing users and staff to deposit waste safely. It accepts a wide range of waste streams, including green waste, wood, scrap metal, and furniture. Waste is deposited directly into removable skips ranging from 15 to 35 m³, eliminating the need for a loading dock. This provides an ideal solution for local authorities looking to modernize their waste collection centers or create new sites while minimizing civil engineering work.
Why choose a flat waste disposal site?
With this new development, the Oisemont waste disposal site is part of an approach aimed at modernizing collection infrastructure while improving the user experience and operating conditions.
Unlike loading docks, ground-level waste disposal sites allow for loading directly from the ground. This simplifies movement while improving user safety.
This model has many advantages:
- Installation without major civil engineering work
- Equipment delivered ready to be installed
- A modular solution that can evolve according to the site's needs.
- Smoother vehicle traffic
- Improved safety for users and staff
- Optimizing waste stream management
By combining high-performance equipment with a modern design, this new waste disposal site offers a sustainable, scalable solution adapted to the current challenges of waste management.
