KARAVEL is a mobile waste collection point for vehicles under 3,5 tonnes (GVW). It offers a practical, innovative, and flexible solution for waste management in rural or semi-urban areas. Made in France and protected by a patent, it combines modularity, robustness , and ease of use.
A modular, flexible and efficient concept
Thanks to its modular design, KARAVEL allows for easy adaptation of the configuration to suit the needs of each site. Each module, equipped with sliding plates made of recycled plastic , can be quickly brought together and assembled. This modularity offers great flexibility while facilitating the management of numerous waste streams.
A manipulation without constraints
KARAVEL can be handled with a standard truck with a hooklift , without a crane or a CACES-certified driver. Furthermore, no specialized vehicle is required, reducing logistical costs . The ratchet tie-down system allows a single person to safely assemble or disassemble the entire unit. This makes operations quick and easy.
A robust and durable construction
The modules were designed to last. The 22 m³ skips have thick, resistant sheet metal:

A 6mm base, in one piece.

5 mm thick sides.

Front panels and doors of 4 mm.
Furthermore, continuous welds and welded hinges ensure exceptional strength. Finally, the 200 mm rollers, mounted on ERTALON bushings , guarantee smooth gliding.
A well-designed central platform
The platform, made of hot-dip galvanized checker plate , is 1,2 meters high. It can accommodate specific waste (used oils, clothing, etc.) while leaving space under the ramps for other waste streams. This configuration optimizes both space and organization.
